Banana Oat Walnut Pancakes

These banana oat walnut pancakes are SOOO GOOD! Not only are they gluten free, they are dairy free, and refined sugar free. They make the perfect healthy breakfast that is satisfying and scrumptious. These pancakes are fluffy and crispy on the edges and the walnuts give these pancakes a nice crunch. I highly recommend you make tis if you are craving pancakes but still want them to be healthy and yummy!

The Ingredients You Will Need…

  • 1 Banana
  • 2 Cups Oats
  • 3 Tbs Apple Sauce
  • 2 TBS Chia Seeds
  • 1 1/2 Cups Plant Milk
  • 1 Tbs Vegetable Oil
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
  • Pinch Salt
  • 1 Tbs Baking Powder
  • 1 Cup Walnuts, chopped
  • Maple Syrup
  • 1-2 Tbs Cooking Spray

Substitutions

3TBSApple sauce  ➡️ 2 TBS vegan yogurt

1 TBS Vegetable oil ➡️ 1TBS Nut butter (such as peanut butter, almond butter, cashew butter etc..)

Method:

Step 1:

Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.

Step 2:

Pour the pancake batter onto a non-stick greased skillet and cook on both sides.

Step 3:

Top with walnuts,  bananas and maple syrup. Enjoy! 🙂

Ingredients:

  • 1 Banana
  • 2 Cups Oats
  • 2 Tbs Chia Seeds

  • 1 1/2 Cups Plant Milk
  • 1 Tbs Vegetable Oil
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
  • Pinch Salt
  • 1 Tbs Baking Powder
  • 1 Cup Walnuts, chopped
  • Maple Syrup
  • 1-2 Tbs Cooking Spray

Instructions:

  • In a blender add banana, oats, apple sauce, plant milk, vegetable oil, vanilla extract, salt, and baking powder. Blend until smooth.
    1 Banana, 2 Cups Oats, 3 Tbs Apple Sauce, 1 1/2 Cups Plant Milk, 1 Tbs Vegetable Oil, 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract, Pinch Salt, 1 Tbs Baking Powder
  • Heat up a non stick skillet on medium heat. Spray with cooking spray. Pour the batter into 1/3 cup circles to form pancakes. Once the edges re browned and there are bubbles on top, flip the pancake and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes. Continue with the rest of the batter.
    1-2 Tbs Cooking Spray
  • Once all the pancakes are cooked, top with chopped walnuts and maple syrup. Enjoy 🙂
