Mini Brownie Trifle
Who doesn’t want a delicious dessert that is SUPER EASY?! This mini brownie trifle is an easy dessert because we are using boxed brownie mix and pre-made whipped topping. This will save you extra time in the kitchen so you can enjoy your dessert even more!
The Ingredients You Will Need…
- 1 Pack Boxed Brownie Mix (+ingredients needed for the brownie mix)
- 1 Cup Whip Cream
- 1/2 Cup Strawberries, halved
- Chocolate Sauce (optional)

What makes this recipe so easy is the pre-made brownie mix. Obviously, you can make your brownies from scratch but to spare time in the kictechn using a pre-made brownie mix works just fine!
Some really delicious boxed brownie mix brands could include:
- Betty Crockers
- Duncan Hines
- Pillsbury
- Ghirardelli
Remember: Whatever brownie mix you choose for this recipe you will need to also make sure you have the additional ingredients that the brownie mix calls for. This may include eggs, vegetable oil, milk etc.. Just make sure to read the back of the box before you start making this recipe.
Use whatever Boxed Brownie Mix you like and/or is available to you at your nearest grocery store. For my recipe here I used Betty Crockers Brownie Mix.
The Toppings
There are endless combinations of toppings you can add to this brownie trifle. Here are some ideas:
- Peanuts
- Walnuts
- Pecans
- Pretzels
- Caramel Sauce
- Chocolate Chips
- White Chocolate Chips
- Marshmallows
- Cherries
- Raspberries
method:
Step 1:
Mix all of the marinade ingredients together in a bowl.
Step 2:
Add the brownie mixture into mini cupcake holders or you can use a square pan or whatever else you have.
Step 3:
Assemble the trifles by adding broken up pieces of the brownie, whip cream, strawberries and chocolate sauce.

Ingredients:
- 1 Pack Boxed Brownie Mix (+ ingredients needed for the brownie mix)
- 1 Cup Whip Cream
- 1/2 Cup Strawberries, halved

Instructions:
- Start by preparing the boxed brownie mix according to the instructions. Bake the brownie and then allow the brownie to cool.1 Pack Boxed Brownie Mix (+ ingredients needed for the brownie mix)
- Once the brownies are cooled break the brownie into small bite size pieces about 1 inch size.
- In the individual serving dish of your choice fill the dish 1/3 way with brownie pieces then whip cream on top and strawberries and repeat these layers until you reach the top the of the dish. Top with strawberries, chocolate sauce, or whatever you like. There will be leftover brownie and it should make several more mini trifles.
