How To Make Folded Pizza Wraps

Place a tortilla on a cutting board and using a knife, cut a slit from the centre point of the tortilla to the edge. Now you will have 4 sections of the tortilla to place toppings, meat, sauce, veggies and cheese.

Start with sauce in the lower left section and a tablespoon of pizza sauce. Place the remaining desired toppings and cheese in the remaining 3 sections. I recommend placing a bit of cheese on each of these. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning, Parmesan cheese and optionally red chilli flakes.

Starting on the bottom left, lift the section over the upper left section. Then fold that over the top right section and finally over the bottom right section. You will have a triangle ready to heat up and brown.

Heat up a drizzle of olive oil in a large skillet on medium low heat. Place the 2 folded wraps in the heated skillet and cook for about 3 minutes per side until nicely browned and crisp, adding a bit more olive oil if necessary. Serve hot and enjoy! 🙂

Notes + Tips for Folded Pizza Wraps

  • Try not to over-stuff the folded wrap. I am guilty of over-stuffing my wrap because I get so excited with the ingredients lol!! Just try to add less to the wrap so that way it doesn’t fall apart and is easier to fold up.
  • Use a large or small tortilla for this recipe. I used a small torilla that was about 6″ in diameter but you could use a large tortilla wrap too. This recipe calls for 1 serving which is 2 small tortillas but if you use a large tortilla then you probably just want to make one for a single serving.
  • These folded wraps will last best up to 3-4 days. I prefer to eat them hot or the day of but you can prep these for school or work lunches and slightly reheat them in the microwave or in a pan before eating.
