Dill Pickle Dip

Dill Pickle Dip

Okay, this dill pickle dip is ADDICTIVE! If you are a fan of pickles then you need to try this dip. It’s tangy, creamy and pairs well with crackers, chips or veggies. This dip is a great appetizer, snack or would work well on a charcuterie board of meats and cheeses! This dip only takes a few ingredients for it to come together and you can serve it at room temperature immediately or serve it chilled.Β

The Ingredients You Will Need…

  • 1 Block Cream Cheese (80z), softenedΒ
  • 1/4 Cup Ranch
  • 1/2 Cup Sour Cream
  • 3 Medium Pickles, diced
  • 1/4 Cup Pickle Juice
  • 2 Tbs Hot Sauce
  • 2 Tbs Fresh Dill, minced
  • 1/2 Tsp salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder (each)
  • 3 Cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 Tbs Ranch Powder
  • 2 Cups Potato Chips, Crackers, VeggiesΒ

Pickles

There are many different kinds of pickles that exist. For this recipe I obviously reccoment (Kosher) Dill Pickles. If you are not a fan of dill pickles or happen to have something else on hand that would work fine but just rememeber that it wont taste the same if you use dill pickles. Some other pickles that could work for this recipe:

  • Half-Sour Pickles
  • Bread and Butter Pickles
  • Polish or German Pickles

Substitutions

  • Hot Sauce ➑️ Omit the hot sauce

If you dont like anything spicy that is fine! Just don’t add the hot sauce to the dip. For this recipe, I used Franks Red Hot.Β

  • Fresh Dill ➑️ Dried Dill

Obviously fresh dill is the way to go but sometimes this can be hard to find. You can use dried dill if that is what you have on hand.Β

Chips or VeggiesΒ

The second best part of this dip (the first being the dip itself) is what you use to DIP in the dip! think that plain salted chips work the best for this dill pickle dip. Other yummy dipper options:

  • Crackers
  • Tortilla Chips
  • Carrots
  • Cucumber
  • Celery

The world is your oyster when it comes to creative dippers to pair with this dill pickle dip!

Method:

Step 1:

Add all of the ingredients into a bowl.

Step 2:

Mix it all together until there are no lumps. Garnish with fresh dill.Β

Step 3:

Enjoy! πŸ™‚
