Lemon Garlic Roasted Asparagus

Lemony and garlicky asparagus roasted to perfection is the perfect side dish! Roasted Asparagus is such an easy side dish with vibrant flavours that pair well with grilled or roasted meat, it comes together in less than 30 minutes!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Bunches of Asparagus, de-stemmed
  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1/2 Lemon, zested
  • 1 Lemon, juiced
  • 4 Cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1/2 Teaspoon: Salt, Pepper, Onion Powder, Garlic Powder, each
  • 1 Tablespoon Red Chilli Flakes*

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 380 degrees F.
  • Cut off the bottom stems of the asparagus. Place the asparagus on a baking sheet.
  • Add oil, lemon zest, lemon juice, minced garlic, spices and chilli flakes on top of the asparagus on the baking sheet.
  • With clean hands, mix around the asparagus and massage each piece making sure all of the asparagus is evenly coated in the ingredients.
  • Place the asparagus in the oven and bake for about 20 minutes, flipping the asparagus around halfway through.
  • Cook the asparagus until your preferred doneness and enjoy! :)

u003cliu003e*Adjust the chilli flakes amount to your preference. If you like it spicy, add the full tablespoon, if you just want a little but of heat only add half of the tablespoon. Feel free to completely omit the chilli flakes if you dont want any spice. u003c/liu003e
