These Orange Ginger Immune Shots, enriched with vitamin C and anti-inflammatory properties from oranges, lemons, ginger, and turmeric, offer a quick and convenient way to boost your immune system. - 8 Oranges peeled and chopped
- 4 Lemons peeled and chopped
- 1 Large Piece of Ginger about 4-6 inches
- 2 Tablespoons Fresh Turmeric (or 1 teaspoon ground turmeric) peeled and chopped
- 2 Cups Filtered Water
If using a juicer, ensure it is clean and ready for use. If using a blender, make sure it's clean, and have a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth ready for straining.
For Juicer Method:
Juice the oranges, lemons, ginger, and turmeric one by one into a large bowl or pitcher.
8 Oranges, 4 Lemons, 1 Large Piece of Ginger, 2 Tablespoons Fresh Turmeric (or 1 teaspoon ground turmeric)
For Blender Method:
Place orange segments, lemon segments, chopped ginger, turmeric, and water in the blender. Blend on high speed until well combined.
Place a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth over a bowl or pitcher. Pour the blended mixture through the strainer or cheesecloth, using a spatula or the back of a spoon to press down and extract as much liquid as possible.
If the juice is too concentrated, add water to the juice to achieve your desired level of concentration. You can add up to 1-2 cups of water or more, depending on your preference.

Carefully pour the juice into the 2oz jars, leaving a little space at the top to avoid spillage when closing the lids.
Seal the jars tightly and store them in the refrigerator. These shots can be stored for up to 3-4 days. Shake the jars well before serving, as natural settling may occur. Enjoy and bottoms up! :)
