- 1/2 Cup Crushed Ice
- 1 Tablespoon Tajin or Sea Salt
- 1 Jalapeno
- 1 Tablespoon Agave
- 2 oz Tequila
- 1 oz Cointreau
- 1/4 Cup Fresh Lime Juice
- Lime Slies + Jalapeño Slices, to garnish
In a glass add the 1/2-3/4 of the jalapeño (in slices) and the agave. Use a muddler to crush the jalapeño and agave together until it has formed a paste and the juices from the jalapeño have been released.
With another glass, spread a lime wedge over the rim of the glass, exposing the juices over the rim. Dip the rim of the glass into a shallow plate of Tajin or sea salt.
Add ice to the Tajin rimmed glass, then add the jalapeño mixture, followed by tequila, cointreau and fresh lime juice to reach the top of the glass. Stir the drink and try it to see if it needs anything extra to your desire.
Garnish the Spicy Jalapeño Margarita with extra lime and jalapeño slices, enjoy u0026 drink responsibly! :)
