Why You'll Love This Protein Chocolate Avocado Pudding

  • This pudding is full of fibre, protein and healthy fats! Between the protein powder, avocado and coconut cream there is so much good stuff in this pudding that taste amazing and it good for you!
  • Protein Chocolate Avocado Pudding makes a great meal prep dessert! You can make a batch of this and enjoy it for the rest of the week. Tip: I like to add my pudding to individual mini mason jars to make single portions.
  • You can customize toppings and add-ins! I added coconut whip cream, strawberries and chocolate chips on top. The options are endless when it comes to topping this pudding: peanut butter, caramel, berries, banana etc..

Does this pudding actually taste like avocado?

It is imperative to use perfectly ripened avocados to make this pudding. Try not to use over-ripe brown and stringy avocados since this can bring out a not so pleasant taste. This pudding does have an avocado taste, but with the cocoa powder and maple syrup it gives more of a pudding taste than anything. Increase the amount of cocoa powder and sweetness to your pudding until it reaches your desired taste.

Notes + Tips for Protein Chocolate Avocado Pudding

  • Use ripe avocados to make this dessert. Ripe avocados will make this pudding delicious and give it the best taste.
  • Use your protein powder of choice! I used the Vega Plant Based Protein Chocolate Powder for Smoothies. Optionally, you can completely omit the protein powder.
  • I recommend using coconut cream for this pudding. Coconut milk would also work too but be sure to use full fate coconut milk. Coconut cream is thick and gives this pudding a delectable texture.
