Starbucks has nothing on this seasonal favourite. This sugar cookie latte is basically a sugar cookie in a drink. The perfect holiday drink for a cozy night in watching movies.

Ingredients:

Sugar Cookie Syrup

  • 2 Tbs Butter
  • 1 Cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 1/2 Tsp Almond Extract
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract

Sugar Cookie Latte

  • 2 Shots Espresso (or strong coffee of your choice)
  • 1 Cup Oat Milk, Frothed
  • 1-2 Tbs Sugar Cookie Syrup, to taste
  • Whip Cream, to garnish
  • Red and Green Sprinkles, to garnish

Instructions:

Sugar Cookie Syrup

  • Start by making the sugar cookie syrup. In a small saucepan add butter and brown it. Once butter is browned, add sugar, water, almond and vanilla extract. Bring to a boil and whisk sugar to dissolve, leave to simmer for 10 minutes while whisking often. After 10 minutes turn the heat off and set aside. Once the syrup reaches room temperature pour into a mason jar.
    2 Tbs Butter, 1 Cup Granulated Sugar, 1 Cup Water, 1/2 Tsp Almond Extract, 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract

Sugar Cookie Latte

  • In a frothing mug, add 1 cup of *warm* oat milk. Use handheld frothing machine to froth milk until its foamy

  • In your desired mug, start by adding your 2 shots of espresso or brewed coffee. Add 1-2 Tbs of sugar cookie syrup (use less or more depending if you like it very strong or not). Stir the syrup into the coffee. Add the frothed oat milk on top and stir the milk into the drink.
    2 Shots Espresso (or strong coffee of your choice), 1-2 Tbs Sugar Cookie Syrup,
  • To garnish add whip cream and red and green sprinkles.
